The Roadies started off their Sunday worshipping the Lord at Aurora Calvary Church, where they encountered some old friends from the last road trip. A big "HELLO!" to Chael, Beth, and Audry. It was such a blessing seeing your big smiles again! We MISS you!
Later we went back to Legacy Christian Fellowship's home office, where last semester's roadies stayed for several days. It was great being back and seeing Sherri, Pastor Lani's assistant, again. Thank you for your hospitality!
As we were leaving Sherri's house, we found that the RV was stuck in the snow. It was a fun and interesting endeavor getting it moving. Girls got into the back of the RV and jumped up and down to get the RV rocking, while the boys united together behind it and pushed, with Dave yelling "Chief it! Chief it!" The fun escalated when the RV started slipping and sliding from side to side on the street..even breaking a fence. Thank God we were able to get it moving safely on the road again!
The Roadies headed to a local orphanage with Pastor Lani from Legacy Church along with his son and former HSE student, Ben, and a few of the youth from the church.
Here is Pastor Lani briefing the group on the orphanage.

A handful of the group performed a play for the kids. Here are Amy, Sean, Aaron, and Randee getting ready.

During the time we were there, some of the roadies who have the gift of discernment felt a deep sense of uneasiness and heaviness -- they felt it from the moment they walked into the building. A few of them felt so burdened they had to walk outside. Most of the kids at the facility have a past of sexual and physical abuse, and at the orphanage there was a spirit of wickedness roaming around wanting to devour the childrens' souls.
PLEASE KEEP THESE CHILDREN IN YOUR PRAYERS. PRAY FOR THEIR PROTECTION, HEALING, and SALVATION.
