Day 5...A very blessed day!

This day started with the Lord blessing the roadies to a white blanket of snow!
You can see that we hardly get to see snow in Southern California...

Our lovely day started @ Confluence Ministries. We helped with organizing to decorating for the day of our Lord, to taking down a 250 lb vintage cast iron heat radiator, to staining trim. All in all we had a very blessed day serving.

Down time with Wess and Lynnette

After all the exitement we went to Horizon Denver. We had a wonderful time in worship and fellowship. God is doing great things in Denver. Tonight was a night of devine appointments. Shanon, met this really neat girl. She described her life in an imorial lifestyle. She had her son with her and she said that she is living with her boyfriend and wants to move out. Shanon prayed with her and afterwards, the girl, went out and spoke with the pastor. She asked us to keep her up in prayer; because she is telling her boyfriend that she is moving out. We pray that God stirs up in his heart and does a change in his life. Keep them in prayer!

And we raise up holy hands

To praise the Holy One

Who was and is and is to come....

Joy of the Lord

Day of Prayer

Today the roadies went out and prayed over a ministry and their surrounding community. We thought we were going to go out to bless them, but quite the contrary. We were not only blessed spiritually but our eyes were opened to a whole different realm.

A little background info with who we served with today.

Confluence Ministries is a refuge center that reaches out to its community in down town Denver. They have been called to love their neighbors, reach the unreached, and teach the English language to the Hispanic community surrounding them. They have been blessed with a beautiful brick building in the middle of a struggling neighborhood. Listening to Jude on the process of how the ministry came to be reminded me how faithful God is to His children. Taking a leap of faith and running with it is how we should all react to God's still voice and calling. The majority of the supplies they are furnished with has been donated. We had the privilege of helping to tidy up the place and help them however we could. I do hope that we return soon.

Jude explaining the vision.
After Jude gave the roadies a rundown on the spiritual condition of the neighborhood, the team broke off into small groups to walk and pray for the community.

One of the houses in the community.

Krista, Dave, Randee and Jennifer had the opportunity to stumble across a memorial site for a three-year old little girl's body that someone found a few weeks ago. This unfortunate event is still under investigation and the mother and boyfriend of the mother are still under questioning. Jude said that this community is known for parents throwing away their children in trash cans or absolutely abandoning them.

We live in "a Great Nation" how can this be happening here?!!

Will you join us in praying for Federial Hights, CO.

Some of our kids on their prayer walk. From left to right Carrie Ann, Sean, Brent and Lynnette. They have been great leaders on this trip.

From afar you can see four of our prayer warriors in the beginning of their journey.

Aaron doing his part in the service projects with Confluence Ministries. We are blessed to have him with us!

Even though we are in the Word and one with Christ, each of us have prayer requests. My brothers and sisters in Christ, please realize just this. We, as a family, are here for each other and for our families and friends; but we can only do so much...please keep us all in prayer.

Tonight was a night of breaking down walls and barriers. God moved in such a way that many of us were sensitive to the Spirit, we felt lead to speak out and pray as the Spirit moved through us all.Worship tonight with the Holy Spirit was thick with God's fragrance. We were all hoping that it had never ended.

Phillip shared a devo tonight. 2 Corinthians 10:4 - 6 it was a powerful and heart piercing message. The holy spirit was moving during and after tonight.

a SPIRIT-filled day!!!

The home that the road team will be living for the next 2 1/2 weeks. Big thanks to Sam for your hospitality! You are a HUGE blessing!

Being with Calvary Chapel South Denver was an awesome time. The Holy Spirit was truly upon us. There was a thick fragrance as well as a sweet presence. Worship was great and I wished that it never ended…I’m pretty sure I wasn’t the only one. Ryan and Shawn did a fantastic time sharing the word as well as sharing the key points of L.I.F.E.
Love – Kyle, gives so that others may gain
Integrity - Krista , is making and keeping the right commitments
Faith – Ruth, is confidence in God that produces action
Evangelism – Sean, is sharing your relationship with God
Servant-Leadership – Ryan, humble and helpful influence.

Kyle speaks about how God's Love has impacted his life. Krista spoke about the integrity and how God used that to help out a fellow classmate and friend, Susan.

Sean powerfully speaks about sharing your relationship with God. Kyle, in worship with his mom that he hasn't seen in ten years. This was truely a sweet time for them both.
After Ryan praying with Karri there was a great sence of healing and restoration.
Having an awesome time in worship.

This is Michelle, she is a sweet girl that God has been restoring and transforming.
Praise report:
Kyle, one of our great team members, got reunited with his mom and older brother. They haven’t seen each other in over ten years. Ryan prayed with them afterwards.

Prayer Requests:
Pray for the group, that we remain sensitive to the spirit as well as meeting divine appointments. Pray that God will do a work in our hearts. Pray for the people in Denver as well as surrounding cities and communities. We will be having an outreach in a vacant building that was lent to us for the next few weeks. Pray for our health. Lynette was sick from her tummy last night and is recooperating from it this morning.
