Today started with prayer and devotions. Even though we’ve been on this trip and have been living together for two and a half weeks there has been a division among the group. The Holy Spirit lead one of our leaders to approach us about our spiritual and physical divisions. Today we made some amazing breakthroughs in our group. What we thought would be an hour took three. The Holy Spirit lead us all through a time of confession and healing. I praise the Lord for awesome leaders and elders.
Afterwards eight of us were called to go to YWAM campus to go and help clean up. Being there was a privilege and heartbreaking in the same time.
Each of us girls were assigned to a room to help organize before the students got back. While I was in one of the rooms trying to make the beds and praying over each bed – phones were ringing like crazy. They never stopped buzzing or ringing, I felt a little awkward cleaning someone else’s room and trying make sure that I’m able to put everything away according to each individual. With clothes lying around and beds undone all that I wanted to do was bless these girls.
When I was done with my room I walked over and spoke to one of her best friends and mentor. I was truly heartbroken when I heard what was on her last entry of her journal...it said, "What was meant for evil, God meant for good…" right then and there my heart was so heavy my throat was knotted up. I was in shock and at the same time blessed. I really don’t know how else to word it. This girl is still ministering even after she is gone.
Please keep the students at the center up in prayer as well as New Life Church.
We, the Roadies, feel that we are called to be in Denver, Colorado for such as a time as this. Of all the people He chose us, we have the opportunity to be servants, prayerfully be brothers and sisters in Christ, to be there for the body of Christ and love others abundantly just as Christ loves us.
For such a time as this, God has called 23 people out here.
The radical part is that we were going to stay at that YWAM base if the home in Aurora, Colorado hadn’t opened up. It would have been a 25 percent chance that one of us would of gotten injured as well or even worse.
Imagine family and friends all over, it could have been one of your own kindred. One of your own children, family member, friend, or someone you knew from church that you were supporting. This really hits home for me, to imagine something so unreal – something that should only happen in movies or short stories becomes a reality in your own life, your comfort zone, the world that you have as a bubble, or the illusion you created to be thought of being real, is a huge lie! You have not only deceived yourselves but others around you who follow you. So I urge you, please please please keep Denver, Colorado in prayer. You never know when something like this may happen in your neighbor hood, your church, or "your world."
For those of you keeping Denver, YWAM families, New Life Church, and us in prayer – Thank You! We feel them and are experiencing God in a different level.
We love you all.
In His Grip,
Jennifer

God can restore any broken relationship and heal any pain. If you have any family/relationship struggles, seek the Lord and He is faithful to answer.
A handful of the group performed a play for the kids. Here are Amy, Sean, Aaron, and Randee getting ready.

During the time we were there, some of the roadies who have the gift of discernment felt a deep sense of uneasiness and heaviness -- they felt it from the moment they walked into the building. A few of them felt so burdened they had to walk outside. Most of the kids at the facility have a past of sexual and physical abuse, and at the orphanage there was a spirit of wickedness roaming around wanting to devour the childrens' souls.
